My Work Ethos Colour, patterns and play of light on landscapes, trees and flowers using batik with soya wax, bees wax and cold water procion dyes. This is at present my main method. Natural dyes made from flowers leaves and roots have interested me for many years and they are becoming more important in my in my creative work. I work in my idyllic Originality studio which has access to the garden containing my dye plants. I regularly post pictures of new work Facebook blog. 
In recent years I have taken part in York Open Studios, Leeds Art Gallery Open Exhibition and Yorkshire Craft Centre Bradford exhibitions as well as holding openings at my studio. |
